The terms
| Airalo | BeeSim | |
|---|---|---|
| Unlimited and daily plans | Unlimited plans: 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps. | Daily plans where a destination has them: the plan card states the full-speed amount per day and the speed after it. |
| Top-up | Yes, on most eSIMs. | On the plans whose own page says so; the others are bought again rather than topped up. |
| Hotspot | Yes, no limit. | Yes, the full allowance. |
| Account | Account required. | None needed; the eSIM opens from the order link. |
| Refunds | Within 14 days if the eSIM was not activated, to the card or as Airmoney. | Any eSIM that has not been installed; an installed one only if it never worked. |
| Payment | Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay (not in every country), Alipay in the app. | Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through the payment partner. |
What is the same
Both are data-only eSIMs installed by QR code or in one tap, both keep your own number active on your physical SIM, both allow hotspot, and both start counting the days when the eSIM first connects abroad.
Where BeeSim and Airalo differ
- Airalo requires an account before you can pay; BeeSim sells to a guest and opens the eSIM from the order link.
- Airalo sells one branded plan per country. BeeSim buys from several wholesale suppliers and lists the cheaper offer for each destination, which is why the same size can be a few dollars less — or, for some countries, not.
- Airalo’s unlimited plans throttle after 3 GB a day. BeeSim sells these as daily plans, not as unlimited: the plan card states the full-speed amount per day and the speed after it.
- Airalo has a 14-day refund window for unused eSIMs; BeeSim refunds any eSIM that has not been installed.
Which one to pick
Choose Airalo if you want the Airmoney balance, referral credits or an app that already holds your travel history.
Choose BeeSim if you want the lower price on the destinations in the table, no sign-up, and prices shown in your own currency.
